WP Talents is a free and open source directory of top-notch WordPress developers and agencies. As such, we aggregate data from various sources and combine them with custom information. Using this data, especially the infamous “talent score”, we want to showcase talented people around the world to make it easier for you to find a partner.

What are the requirements for getting listed?
All you need is a WordPress.org user account with (hopefully) lots of data. Drop us a noteand we will add you as soon as possible. In the future, this might be an automated process.
Where can I change some incorrect data?
If you see broken links or missing data when viewing a talent’s profile, let us know via this specific form. In the future, you will be able to change your own profile.
Can I have a look at the source code?
We’re currently freshening up the code base, cleaning up all this mess from the late-night coding sessions. We let you know when it’s available.
How is the score calculated?
You’re not the first one to ask! It’s probably worth to wait for the source code so you can have a look at the mechanism directly. What we’re considering for the score at the moment:
- Badges on your WordPress.org profile
- Number of great WordPress plugins and themes
- Contributions to WordPress Core
- Activity in the support forums
- Codex contributions
- Appearances on WordPress.tv
- …many more in the future

How to Create and Configure the Directory Page?
Automatically Created Directory Page
First of all, the plugin automatically creates the index page. This is a simple page which contains the shortcode [сmbd_business]
The link to this page can be found on above the plugin settings. The page is defined as the index page by specifying it in the option "Business Index Page ID".
In the plugin settings, you can configure what should be displayed on the business directory page - how many businesses per page, search/sort/filter bars, pagination, etc.
And there are also settings for the business directory appearance configuration - choosing the view style and options for each view style.
Manually Created Directory Page
The business directory can be placed on any other post/page, and some global plugin parameters can be overridden with the help of the shortcode.
To display business directory on the current page, we used the shortcode with the following parameters:
[сmbd_business view="directory" page_business="5"]
For displaying, we used Business Directory View and defined to display maximum 5 businesses per page.
